 Growing up in a very athletic family and the niece of local legend, Nicolas Ah-Sam (current Starting LB for Portland State University), Danaeja has always gravitated towards sports; especially basketball. This young lady has grown into being such a phenomenal athlete and her work ethic on and off the court is second to none.

Danaeja plays for two separate travel club teams in the Lane County area and is both one of the leading scorers and defenders for each program. Her dedication to the sport has garnered the attention of coaches at the prep level and also has allowed her to practice with other young ladies with varsity experience during the offseason. What is most impressive, with her heavy work load on the basketball court, Danaeja has been able to balance her studies flawlessly and is carrying a 4.0 GPA in the classroom."
